While many tourists snorkel at Steps Beach, enjoying the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, you won’t want to miss out on the Rincon Marina during your time in our surf town. Not only does the marina have a great swim beach and great waters for paddle boarding, it’s also a great place to snorkel.
Recently, Chikako, Rachel and a few of their friends took the morning off to snorkel at the marina and to photograph the beautiful coral, fish and of course, for a little fun too. As you can see from their photos, it is a majestic place to explore!
As with any snorkeling adventure, be sure to have the proper gear, snorkel with another person and go when the conditions are optimal and the waves aren’t dangerous. Next time you stop by the marina take the opportunity to check out the beautiful sea life – you just might discover a sea turtle, manatee and other exciting animals.
